Does OmeTV have a gender filter? +
OmeTV itself does not offer a real gender filter. Fluxora Pulse adds one for desktop Chrome and Safari on iPhone, with detection running locally in your browser.
How does the gender filter work? +
When OmeTV connects you to a chat, Fluxora Pulse reads the remote video element in your browser, runs a local face and gender check, and presses next automatically if the detected gender doesn't match your preference. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I pick male or female? +
Yes. The 'Skip when detected as' setting accepts Male or Female. Set it to the gender you want to skip, and the extension will stay only on chats whose detected gender is the opposite. You can also turn the gender filter off and use only the group or no-face filters.
How accurate is gender detection? +
It is good but not perfect. Detection uses an on-device face and gender model, and accuracy depends on lighting, camera angle, video quality, age, skin tone, and gender presentation. You can raise the confidence threshold to be more strict.
Is the gender filter free? +
Yes. The Free plan includes 50 auto-skips per day, the gender and group filters, camera privacy (black or static), and adjustable no-face skipping. Pro removes the daily limit and adds 0.25s Rapid checks and two-device activation for $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
Does the OmeTV gender filter work on iPhone? +
Yes. Download Fluxora Pulse on iPhone and open OmeTV in Safari. It works as a Safari extension and does not run inside the native OmeTV app.
How should I set up an OmeTV gender filter responsibly? +
Start with the default check speed and adjust only if you need to. Fluxora Pulse is independent from OmeTV, and you are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you use.
Is my OmeTV video sent to a server? +
No. The face and gender model runs locally in Chrome or Safari. Video frames, screenshots, and detection results are not uploaded.
Does the gender filter also work on Umingle and MiniChat? +
Yes. The same extension applies the gender filter to Umingle in video mode and to MiniChat's embedded video chat. One install covers all three supported sites.
