Does OmeTV have a gender filter? +
Fluxora Pulse adds preference-based automatic skipping to the OmeTV website in desktop Chrome and Safari on iPhone. It checks each connected chat locally; it does not change OmeTV's matchmaking or unlock a feature in the native OmeTV app.
How does the gender filter work? +
When OmeTV connects you to a chat, Fluxora Pulse reads the remote video element in your browser, runs a local face and gender check, and presses next automatically if the detected gender doesn't match your preference. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I pick male or female? +
Yes. 'Skip when detected as Male' skips chats classified as male; Female skips chats classified as female. Choose the category you want to skip, not the one you want to keep. None turns off gender-based skipping, while other enabled filters can still skip chats. Detections are predictions and can be wrong.
How accurate is gender detection? +
Detection is a prediction based on the video, not a determination of a person's identity. Lighting, camera angle, video quality, age, skin tone, and gender presentation can affect results. You can adjust confidence thresholds, but no setting guarantees accurate matches.
Is the gender filter free? +
Chrome Free includes 50 auto-skips per day and the core filters. Chrome Pro adds unlimited skips, 0.25s Rapid checks, and three-device activation for $5.99 a month. The iPhone app has its own App Store plan and purchase terms.
Does the OmeTV gender filter work on iPhone? +
Yes. Download Fluxora Pulse on iPhone and open OmeTV in Safari. It works as a Safari extension and does not run inside the native OmeTV app.
How should I set up an OmeTV gender filter responsibly? +
Start with the default check speed and adjust only if you need to. Fluxora Pulse is independent from OmeTV, and you are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you use.
Is my OmeTV video sent to a server? +
No. The face and gender model runs locally in Chrome or Safari. Video frames, screenshots, and detection results are not uploaded.
Does the gender filter also work on Umingle and MiniChat? +
The desktop Chrome extension also supports Umingle video mode and MiniChat. The iPhone Safari extension currently supports OmeTV only.
